We went to the Trail of Lights in Zilker Park this weekend. We had never been before but it is a 1.25 mile long display of lights. We went with our friends Naomi, Mike and Savannah. Savannah quickly fell asleep after getting road rage from being in her car seat too long since there was traffic. Becca on the other hand was wide awake staring all around her to catch every light. She would point at the different displays as she rode on Naomi, Mike and Daddy's shoulders. At the very end she was tired and was resting her head on Daddy's head. I look forward to next year when she is able to talk more and will be able to vocalize her amazement of the lights. We finished off the night the Texas way by going to Rudy's for some BBQ.

I'm glad that we made the trip. Even with Savannah sleeping, it was a fun adventure. Next year will definitely be amazing with the girls being able to talk. :)
